Fishing Guide in Poland
What is a guided fishing trip with Wild River like?
Wild River provides English-speaking fishing guides in Poland, offering river fishing near Warsaw and boat trips on the Masurian Lakes. A standard full-day trip lasts 8 hours, while a half-day trip lasts 4 hours. We provide an experienced guide and a full set of fishing tackle. We tailor the fishing location, techniques and arrangements to your expectations.
We also organise multi-day fishing trips — a popular choice among keen anglers. The number of days, fishing programme and price are agreed individually.
- 4 or 8 hourstime on the water
- 1 or 2 guestson the boat, plus your guide
- Tackle includedrods and lures
- Catch & releaseall fish returned to the water
We usually fish from a boat. Our standard boat trip accommodates up to two guests in addition to the guide. For larger groups, we are happy to arrange additional boats. The stated duration is the time spent on the water. Each trip is priced individually according to the agreed arrangements.
Which fish species can you target?
Wild River specialises in fishing trips for predatory fish. We choose the location and fishing techniques to suit your target species and the current conditions.

Fishing guide near Warsaw — Vistula, Bug and Narew
Our river destinations include the Vistula (Wisła), Bug and Narew. We choose the river and the exact fishing spot to suit your target species, the conditions and the agreed trip plan. We most often focus on asp and wels catfish.
On our river trips, we fish from boats, from the bank or by wading, depending on our guests’ preferences.

Fishing in the Masurian Lakes — Śniardwy, Mamry and Kisajno
Our lake fishing trips always take place from a boat. Destinations include Zegrze Reservoir and many of the Masurian Lakes, including Śniardwy, Mamry and Kisajno.

What is not included in the standard price?

- Meals, drinks and accommodation — guests usually book their own accommodation.
Where does the trip start?
We meet at an agreed location by the lake or river, usually a marina or another easily accessible spot by the water. If you choose optional transport, we will agree the meeting point and travel arrangements individually.
How much does a trip cost and how do I book?
Every trip is tailored to the participants’ needs. Prices are quoted individually, depending on the fishing location, duration and agreed arrangements.
When you enquire, please tell us your preferred date, number of guests, trip duration — 4 or 8 hours — and the species or fishing location you are interested in. Please also let us know if you need transport. If you do not yet have a specific plan, we will help you put one together.
Once the details and price have been agreed, we ask for a deposit.
What happens in bad weather?
Our guides fish in all kinds of weather, including rain, wind and cold. Suitable clothing helps you prepare for conditions on the water.
The exceptions are prolonged thunderstorms or winds that could put participants’ safety at risk, particularly on larger waters. If these conditions prevent the trip from going ahead, we will try to offer an alternative fishing location or another suitable date. If rescheduling is not possible, we refund the deposit.
Catch & release
All Wild River fishing trips follow the catch & release principle. Every fish we catch is returned to the water.
